Hotel Reservation Terms and Conditions
By booking this reservation, you confirm your agreement to these terms and conditions. Other terms and conditions may also apply depending upon your specific offer. If you do not agree to all of these terms and conditions, please contact Room Reservations at 877.880.0880.
Daily Resort Fee. A daily resort fee of $50.00 plus applicable tax will be applied to all reservations. The resort fee includes: In-room wireless internet access; unlimited local, domestic long distance (the 50 United States and DC) and toll-free calls; access to Paramount+ with SHOWTIME On Demand via in-room television; airline boarding pass printing; digital newspaper and magazine access; and fitness center access for guests 18+. Amenities, such as fitness center access, are subject to availability and guest demand. Daily resort fees will be waived (i.e., removed from the bill at check out) for eligible MGM Rewards Program members with Gold+ Tier Level status with eligible reservations (subject to eligibility and other terms and conditions available at https://www.mgmresorts.com/en/mgm-rewards/daily-resort-fee-waiver.html)
Check In/Check Out. Check in time is 3:00 pm and check out time is 11:00 am.
Additional Occupant Charge. There is an additional charge of $40 plus tax per occupant, per night, above 2 occupants per room.
* Taxes. Estimated taxes are based on current tax rates which are subject to change as required by applicable law. Taxes may include lodging tax, sales tax, entertainment tax, etc. Lodging taxes apply to the basic room rate, any resort fee, additional per occupant charges, upgrades, as well as any other charges as required by applicable law. In the event that lodging is part of a package offering that includes food & beverage, entertainment, or other taxable or nontaxable goods and services, the applicable taxes, if any, will be computed on each component of the package in accordance with applicable tax laws and will be shown on your final invoice at check-out. Additional taxes, if any, will be due upon check-out.
Room Status. MGM Grand reserves the right to check the status of all rooms/suites at any time.
Firearms Policy. Firearms are not permitted on the premises of MGM Grand Las Vegas, including within our hotel rooms. If requested, safekeeping of properly registered firearms can be arranged.
Credit/Debit Card Charges. The credit or debit card used to reserve your reservation will be required upon arrival to register. If you are paying with a credit card, you must present the credit card at check-in unless a previously arranged third party credit card authorization is completed for the booking. If you are not the credit card holder, please contact Room Reservations for details on our credit card policy. We will place an authorization against this account to cover applicable charges for room, taxes and resort fees, as well as a $100 incidental amount per day to allow you access to room charging privileges and may result in additional authorizations should your charges exceed the originally approved amount. Upon check-out, authorization holds are released from your hotel stay and processed to your bank. Guests using a debit card in lieu of a credit card acknowledged unused funds may be withheld by your card issuer. Each individual bank operates under its own policies and may withhold any unused funds for a longer period. Questions regarding authorization hold timing should be directed to your card issuer. If a credit card refund is reflected on your hotel receipt, please allow your bank up to 10 business days to post to your account (International banks may have a longer processing time). If you do not see your refund on your account within 10 business days of the transaction date on your hotel receipt, please visit us at Billing Questions to submit an inquiry.
Responsibility for Charges and Damages. You agree that regardless of billing or master account arrangements, you are liable for any and all charges posted to your room(s). For example, if your room charges and/or incidentals are to be paid by a third party, and such third party fails to make timely payment for those charges, you agree that you are responsible for all such charges. You are further liable for all damages to the room(s) caused by you or your guests/invitees during your stay. You agree that any guests in your room are authorized by you to charge to the room from anywhere in the resort or at any MGM Resorts International ("MGM") property, unless you advise the Front Desk otherwise.
You understand, acknowledge and expressly grant MGM and its affiliated properties permission (and waive any claims) to use and disclose your personal and stay information to any payment card processor or issuing bank upon their request in order to provide evidence establishing your presence and charge activities at any MGM property.
You understand that throwing, dropping, or otherwise causing the release of any object from an elevated location including, but not limited to, a balcony, terrace, parking facility, elevated walkway, pedestrian bridge, stairway or escalator, may constitute a CRIMINAL OFFENSE in violation of federal, state and/or local laws. You acknowledge such action may constitute a felony, which can result in a prison sentence and/or a monetary fine. You also acknowledge that you may be held personally liable for any personal injuries and/or property damage caused by the release of such objects from an elevated location either by yourself, or by other occupants and guests using your room. To the fullest extent of the law, you expressly release, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless MGM Resorts International, its subsidiaries and its affiliates, and each of their respective employees, landlords, officers and directors, for any injuries, damages, claims, costs, and attorney fees caused by the release of any objects from an elevated location.
Smoking Charges. MGM Grand hotel rooms and suites are smoke-free. If there is evidence of smoking in your accommodation, you will incur a minimum deep cleaning fee of $500 for rooms and $1,000 for suites charged to your hotel account, plus applicable taxes. Please note that e-cigs, vapors, hookahs, marijuana, etc. fall under our non-smoking policy. We have designated smoking areas throughout the casino, bars and other areas where you may smoke (but use of marijuana is prohibited in both smoking and non-smoking areas). Contact a resort employee for location information regarding designated smoking areas.
Refund of Deposit. The first night's deposit is fully refundable provided a timely notice of cancellation is received by Room Reservations at 877.880.0880 at least 72 hours prior to the arrival date, unless specifically excluded by booked offer. Cancellations less than 72 hours before your scheduled arrival (and no shows) will result in a forfeiture of the first night's deposit. If you have a complimentary stay (or at least the first night is complimentary) and do not cancel at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival (or do not show up), then you will be charged a $110 mid-week or $155 weekend (i.e., Friday, Saturday or Sunday night) cancellation fee (as determined by the first night of your scheduled stay), plus applicable taxes.
Revised Check Out Date. You have the option to change your check out date at any time prior to check-in or at check-in without being charged an early departure assessment. However, if, after checking-in, you decide to check out prior to your confirmed departure date, then you will be charged an early departure assessment in the amount equal to the applicable rate and taxes you were quoted for the night you are departing (and, if specifically included by booked offer, all other remaining nights of your stay).
Should your plans require you to extend your departure date, please check with the Front Desk on room availability but note that your rate is subject to change.
Room Requests. Every effort will be made to accommodate your requests for specific room type and location, but we are unable to guarantee any requests as rooms are not assigned until check in. Additional fees plus applicable taxes may apply depending on the specific requests.
Age Requirement (21+) including gaming, alcohol and check-in restrictions. Guests must be at least 21 years of age in order to check into the hotel. All guests must be at least 21 years old to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages. I hereby acknowledge and agree to assume responsibility for controlling access to any alcoholic liquor in the hotel room(s) (e.g., mini-bar) and to prevent anyone under the age of 21 from accessing and consuming such alcoholic liquor. Reminder: Per Nevada law, you must be 21 years or older to gamble. Please advise your underage guests of this law.
Miscellaneous. The extent of any complimentaries received is based upon qualified casino play that is reviewed during and after your stay. Please notify the Front Desk immediately if there are any errors to name, rate or length of stay. Room rates, resort fees, additional occupant charges, cancellation fees, and cleaning fees are based on rates and fees applicable at time of booking your reservation, not at time of check-in (unless date of booking/check-in are the same or as otherwise provided herein). Applicable taxes are computed at the rate required by law at the time of the applicable transaction.
Telephone Calls. Telephone calls made from hotel phones (including in guest rooms, lobbies, hallways or elevators) to hotel operators or other hotel staff (such as front desk, concierge, room service, etc.) may be monitored and recorded by hotel management for purposes of quality assurance, training, security or mutual protection.
Marketing. By providing your e-mail address, street address, and/or other contact information, you consent to receiving marketing and promotional e-mails, direct mail, and other communications (electronic and otherwise) from MGM and its related and/or affiliated properties, and you consent to our sharing such information with MGM and its related and/or affiliated properties, and with our business partners and other third parties. Automated Text Messages. If you provide your mobile phone number with your room reservation or otherwise (e.g., by scanning a QR code and/or initiating text message(s)), you consent to receive automated text messages (which may use chatbot and/or AI technology) that may be sent prior to your scheduled arrival date, during your stay, and/or after your stay to that number to facilitate your check-in/stay, to respond to your guest service-related requests, and/or otherwise related to your stay. By using any chat functionality (e.g., via automated text message or via mobile app), you consent to the collection, recording, retaining, storing, and use of your text chat information by MGM, its affiliates and its service providers. Safes. In-room fireproof safes are provided for guests to deposit their valuables as well as safety deposit boxes at the Main Cage. MGM Grand will not be responsible for valuables not deposited in such safe or at the Main Cage.
Use of Accommodations. Hotel rooms and suites are intended solely for the purpose of overnight lodging and accommodation and may not be utilized for exhibition and/or sale of goods, products, wares or services, and/or for any other commercial activity other than networking, without first receiving the separate written consent of MGM Grand. Without limiting the forgoing, should you utilize your room(s) and/or suite(s) for any commercial activity, you hereby agree to indemnify, defend and hold MGM Grand and MGM Grand's parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates, free, clear and harmless from, and against, any and all claims and liabilities in connection with such activities.
Professional Filming/Photography. Professional filming or photography of any kind is not permitted on property unless previously approved by property management.
In-Room Refreshment Centers. Fully-stocked refreshment centers are provided in each guest room, not intended for storage of personal items. Stocked items plus applicable taxes are billed to the guest's account as soon as they are removed from the refreshment center.
Payment with Foreign Currency. MGM Grand is pleased to offer you the opportunity to pay for your stay in your home currency. If you choose to pay in your home currency and not in US Dollars, your charges will be converted by the merchant using a wholesale interbank exchange rate plus a three and a half percent (3.5%) margin (or other amount as disclosed during the currency conversion process). Your final amount will be converted using the prevailing rate of exchange at the time of check-out without any additional consultation. You agree that you had the choice to pay in U.S. Dollars.
